The concept behind the distribution of videos and noteworthy literature is to inspire families and family members to develop their talents to their highest potential.
The Foundation seeks to motivate families and family members to reach their highest potential from a physical, intellectual, and psychological point of view.
It does this with the publication of "A Compass Rose," a collection of inspirational essays. And, by distributing literature to families to promote the development of mini-libraries nationwide.
A COMPASS ROSE
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote that each of us has within a compass setting that gives our lives direction. COMPASS ROSE is the nautical term for a circular disc or card with radiating lines that represent a compass.
Basis for Project
Some of us can recall a defining moment in our lives: an individual or an experience that helped give our lives direction.
These sentiments are eloquently expressed by Dr. Viktor E. Frankl in his essay and his selection of the Psalm of Life by Longfellow to follow his essay.
Noteworthy men and women will be asked to write essays. These essays will be compiled, along with a brief biographical sketch, in the next edition. The complete series will be given widespread distribution.
It is our hope that the example of their lives and the influences that gave their lives unique direction might be a help and inspiration for others to follow.
We encourage you to submit for publication your own compass rose essay.
